Easter 2019 at NMMC, Chapter H and it’s Heros!
No one wants to be stuck in the hospital on a holiday, especially on Easter. Chapter H’s concern was pediatrics unit and children that would not be home with their family’s to have Easter lunch, and most important hunt Easter Eggs.
To our surprise when we arrived at the hospital all the children in the pediatric unit had been released. That was a wonderful blessing, but there we were, Easter baskets in hand.
We found our way to the nurse’s desk, on the floor that had several older patients and bedridden patients and had a blast visiting with them, some of the items were not appropriate, but they loved them and the visits all the same.
We left plenty of smiles, hugs, and lots of love there that day.
